Joey sighed as he watched Ted trudge back to his fragile club. He knew that the clues he had - the firecrackers, the piece of fabric, the yellow button, Bill - weren't much to go on. And as for his chief suspicion - insurance fraud - Joey didn't want to consider it. Joey's heart was heavy enough with the death of his own dream; he didn't want the added burden of the possible death of Ted's dream, too.
Deciding to take Ted's advice, Joey prepared to scope out Laughter Infinity - in disguise, in case he ran into Bill.
