The purple toad emerged and the other three trotted down closer to the pond.
Gunther reluctantly gave the introduction. "This is my brother Lars. He's visiting from Pittsburgh."
Joey processed this new information. So there had been two toads in Simpletown when the crime occured - one orange and one purple. With the appearances of the brothers being so different, why wasn't Miss Diddi showing any sign of recognition for either as the culprit? Was her eye witness account credible? Did she actually see a toad fleeing the scene?
After much brow furrowing, Joey realized how all the pieces of the mystery fit together. "Gunther - it wasn't you who vandalized Miss Diddi's paintings. It was Lars!"
